Down below the saloon floor was taken up, a stainless water tank fitted with extra stringers fore and aft and the floor re-laid with solid Thermally modified maple.
New upholstery, a refit of the galley and a new engine brought her back to life ready for action in her new home in Barcelona where she will be cruised and raced.

‘Jemmana’ came to us from a customer who is a keen racer. In her previous life ‘Jemmana’ had completed a circumnavigation so she was well travelled and ready for a bit of an upgrade.
As so many of our refurbishment jobs it started with a phone call. The customer didn’t have a Contessa 32 yet but knew that was what he wanted and asked if we could help to find a second hand one.
Around 350 Contessa 26s were built by the Jeremy Rogers yard and a further 400 under licence in Canada. We regularly look after customers repairs and maintenance on these boats and occasionally get the chance to do a major refit.
