Down below the old water tank was replaced with a new stainless version, fitted into the saloon floor with reinforcing bulkheads fore and aft and topped off with a TMT marine maple floor.
A new name, new upholstery and a galley upgrade really transformed the boat – we were delighted with the results.

‘Jemmana’ came to us from a customer who is a keen racer. In her previous life ‘Jemmana’ had completed a circumnavigation so she was well travelled and ready for a bit of an upgrade.
Around 350 Contessa 26s were built by the Jeremy Rogers yard and a further 400 under licence in Canada. We regularly look after customers repairs and maintenance on these boats and occasionally get the chance to do a major refit.
Originally commissioned for the commodore of the Royal Yacht Squadron back in 1977 ‘Star Ven’ had then been owned by a family who sailed her far and wide from her base in the West Coast of Scotland.
