Re-decking ‘Zarik’

‘Zarik’  is a beautiful 1966 one off classic yacht, much loved and used by her owner both for racing and cruising.

The remit was to sort out a rotten deck and cockpit.

This involved removing the existing decking and underlying plywood replacing sections of the margin board, reseathing with glass and epoxy and re-laying with teak.

For this job we managed to source reclaimed teak salvaged from a ship sunk by U boats during WWII in the Irish sea.
